저는 먼저 예수 그리스도께 부름받은 제자입니다. 하나님께서 먼저 저를 구원하시고 부르셨기에, 그분의 말씀을 듣고 따르는 제자로 살아갑니다.

그리고 모든 제자는 세상 가운데 복음의 증인으로 보냄받았습니다. 그러므로 저에게 중요한 질문은 “선교를 해야 하는가?”가 아니라, “보냄받은 제자로서 하나님께서 맡기신 자리와 은사로 어디에서 어떻게 순종할 것인가?”입니다.

Mission2035는 그 부르심과 보내심에 대한 저의 구체적인 응답입니다. 2035년부터 하나님께서 보내시는 나라, 교육 자원이 부족하고 복음을 접할 기회가 제한된 곳의 대학에서 교육자이자 자비량 캠퍼스 선교사로 살아가며, 현지 교회와 동역하여 학생들을 그리스도의 제자로 세우고자 합니다. 전체 이야기는 mission에, 현재의 섬김은 ministry에 담았습니다.

연구는 이 부르심을 위한 단순한 생계 수단이 아니라, 지금 하나님께서 맡기신 학문적 소명이자 장차 열방의 대학에서 학생들과 오래 동행하기 위한 저의 텐트입니다. 현재 아주대학교 Embedded & Software Lab에서 신뢰할 수 있고 해석 가능한 의료 AI를 연구합니다. 연구 소개는 research에 있습니다.

이 길은 혼자 걷는 길이 아닙니다. 예수님께 부름받은 제자들이 각자의 전문 영역에서 일하며 함께 기도하고 준비하는 자비량 선교팀으로 세워져 가고 있습니다. 함께하는 지체들은 team에서 소개합니다.

Called to follow as a disciple; sent to the nations as a witness. Called to Follow. Sent to Make Disciples.

I am, first of all, a disciple called by Jesus Christ. Because God saved me and called me first, I live as a disciple who listens to His word and follows Him.

And every disciple is sent into the world as a witness of the gospel. So the question that matters to me is not “Should I do missions?” but “As a disciple who has been sent, where and how will I obey with the place and the gifts God has entrusted to me?”

Mission2035 is my concrete response to that call. Beginning in 2035, I hope to serve as an educator and self-supporting (tentmaking) campus missionary at a university in a country where educational resources are scarce and access to the gospel is limited — partnering with the local church to raise students as disciples of Christ. Research is not merely a means of livelihood for this calling. It is a scholarly vocation God has entrusted to me now, and the tent that will let me walk alongside students at universities among the nations for the long haul.
